I was trying to import data from an excel spreadsheet into a Fabrik table in Joomla. Numerous attempts resulted in minor fiascos.
It finally dawned on me that the secret to importing was to use the EXPORT feature.. I exported the fabrik table that I was trying to import a CVS in to. When I looked at the downloaded CVS the reasons for the failed imports was obvious. The download allowed me to see the structure and format of the data. Once I saw that, I knew how to format the CVS file properly for import.
