If your Wyze cameras and videos are loading slowly this simple fix might work.
The Problem – Slow loading of Wyze camera feeds and videos.
I have about 6 cameras in two locations on my Wyze account. Periodically viewing the live feed or captured video becomes slow or impossible. I am on an Android phone. This problem occurs even if I have a strong LTE signal (Verizon) and/or a strong Wifi signal.
The solution – Reboot.
I tried clearing the cache on my phone but that had no effect.
I then tried rebooting the phone. Rebooting the phone will restore the speeds. I’m not happy about having to do a reboot but my Moto G7 Play will complete the process in less than 2 minutes.
The end result is that the playback and livestream views are at a reasonable speed again
