I was trying to add Fabrik 2.x to a new Joomla 1.6 installation. It was giving me file compression errors.
I checked the Fabrik site and it turns out that installations of Joomla 1.6 will require Fabrik 3.x which is due to come out shortly. As of 2/9/10, Fabrik 3.x is not in alpha yet.
Fabrik 3.0 Alpha is now available for Joomla 1.6 to Bronze and higher subscribers at fabrikar.com.
